Yinka Adeyemi
Yinka Adeyemi is a Yoruba man from Ibadan in South western Nigeria. Ibadan is the seat of the Oyo State government in Nigeria. This region is world renowned for its rich cultural and artistic heritage.
Yinka Adeyemi was born in Ibadan and has lived in Ibadan, the purported navel of Yoruba civilization and beliefs. He now resides in Lagos, and is a self-proclaimed Great Youth Ambassador and guardian of the culture and traditions of Yorubaland. Yinka masterfully uses his indigenous wisdom to create visions that evoke the cultural mores of his people.
He uses its virtuosity to juxtapose ageless customs with a markedly contemporary flair. He does not believe in impossibility. He is a creative, enthusiastic and passionate young Nigerian with an unusual passion to make the world a better place.
He is an advocate of youth empowerment and an agent for youth re-orientation. He professes unusual creative ability, driven by innovation, persistence, creativity and excellence; he seeks to make a mark and join other passionate young people in their resolve to make the world a better place.
His desire to challenge young people to wake up and take their place, champion a new course and build their community, dream big dreams and change the world. He has served in various leadership capacities and received several awards as testimony to his various involvements in youth initiatives.
